In the process of building a dedicated .22 have the Cmmg BCG and everything pretty much done but right now just have a 7” 556 barrel. Not planning on shooting 556 it will be a straight up .22 but for now with the 556 barrel should I leave a gas block installed backwards to cover the hole until I get my .22 barrel?

Changed the look a little after my SBR approval. I wanted to tuck my Polo 30 a little bit so went with the MI hand guard. Not sure how I feel about it. I’m still deciding on what stock to replace the acs with. Thinking B5 SOPMOD or Bravo
