3 Weeks Update
2 Months Update

I can't believe another month has passed already!
If you've seen my 2 months graph, you'll notice this one looks a bit different. It's because I started weighing myself every 6 days instead of 2 days, so I also changed that on the graph.

And...FIRST GOAL REACHED !!
After 10 years above 100kg, I'm finally back to 2 digits! I'm SO happy!
I also changed my next goals to be more evenly spaced out, so that it's basically 10kgs at a time.

Now I am very sad this last week I almost didn't lose anything. Maybe it's because we're back on a deadly heatwave (France) which means I can't use my walking pad. It sucks since I was doing better and better, going from 4k to 5k a day compared to 3k in Month 2, and at a higher walking speed too. But the pad generates a lot of heat so I can't use it...It's 32C in my room so yeah...

I know 3.5 kgs/ 7.72 lbs a month is still plenty good!! But ahh, I can't help but feel I want to "catch up" when the heatwave passes haha

Anyway, super happy, if things continue the same it means I'll be around 85kgs (188.7 lbs) by Christmas! "If", as I can't predict how much loss will slow down over time.

"Bastion" is also the name of Gunbreaker's AF Gear in DT

I just remembered the Armoire existed and went to get some AF gear in it, and then saw Gunbreaker's "Bastion" AF gear. It just made me chuckle considering the Bastion job reveal.

I wonder if maybe they hadn't decided on the name of the job yet when naming the AF gear, giving us this coincidence as a result!

That's it, that's the post :]

True ADF 2 Months Update (+Graph)

- First post : 3 Weeks
- True ADF (36hours fast, no food at all).

Hi hi! Not much to say besides how happy I am with this method!

What's new : the past 2 weeks I also started walking 30mins (3k steps) almost every day. I can't do more yet, I'm taking it slow to build the habit first, and then will increase. But already in 2 weeks, I went from walking 15mins+ 15mins to 30mins in one go. I also increased my walking pad's speed from 3.5 to 4.0.

I believe I'm the lightest I've ever been in a decade. And I'm so close to my first goal, it's so exciting! Even if I visibly barely notice a difference, I don't sweat it as I'm well aware of the paper towel effect, and also because I simply feel better already.

I also started making a graph and it really highlights how things work, it's fun. The first water weight loss vs the current fat loss. And that no matter if the weight goes up a bit, the line is still aiming down in the grand scheme of things.

From now on, I'll weight myself weekly, because I don't see the point of doing it before my breakfast as the weight is starting to fluctuate a lot lol

I'm all ears for any more suggestions (or questions to help out others)!

The hardest, silliest thing about ADF:

Having to be mindful about how fast certain foods spoil lol. With ADF, some things that never spoiled before due to eating them every day, now I have to be mindful of how much I buy so it doesn't spoil!

That's it, that's the post haha

BSKY's Certificate error

Did they forget about their certificate, or it's on my end? Can't reach bsky on PC, but mobile is fine.
Their status page looks fine tho.

There is no "proceed anyway" button to ignore the warning.

EDIT:

It's fixed! French people rejoice!

Arnaque prime video - avis

Bonjour !

True ADF 3 Weeks Result + Questions

Heya there!

I'm a trans man on T / 29 y.o / 175cm / Not active (unemployed right now, no sport, only steps I get once or twice a week is for groceries and such)

Started → 110.9 kg
3 Weeks in → 107.7 kg
= -3.2kg (7 lbs)

Ideal weight? Not sure yet, I'm aiming for under 100kg first, then 75kg.

- True ADF (36 hours fast, no food)
- Feast days are between 1700 calories and 2200 calories :

0 / 1958 / 0 / 1912 / 0 / 1763 / 0 / 1778 / 0 / 1701 / 0 / 1905 / 0 / 2050 / 0 / 1860 / 6-800? / 1811 / 0 / 2013 / 0 / 2197 / 0

( one fast was "only" 24 hours to welcome back my best friend, and it was just a couple of croissants :D )

My previous weight loss attempts:
I've done a 7 days fast as a teenager once. My mom at the time discovered fasting and completely changed her diet and had great results, and so I had tried fasting for fun. With it I had lost 7kgs (15lbs). Looking back now it was probably a lot of water lol I don't remember my weight back then also. But it is this experience that made me realize weight loss was possible.

Because 2 years ago, I tried CICO by tracking my calories, and had the barest of results and got quickly discouraged. It's made me think that calories aren't the only thing that matters for weight loss, compared to what CICO redditors will tell you.

So I was at a loss on how to lose weight until recently I remembered that 7 days fast as a teen and how great I felt when I did it. After that reflection, I started browsing fasting subreddits and discovered ADF, and started doing it a few days later and here I am now!

Questions :

  1. Are my calories on eating days good? I don't know if I should be in deficit, maintenance, or overeating on eating days. tdeecalculator says BMR is around 2000. So far my loss varies from a bit under 1kg or a bit over 1kg per week. I know that losing 1kg per week is okay, but not more than that.
  2. I have a walking pad which I'm terrible at using regularly due to suspected ADHD. My way to help doing tasks that I can't remember to do is to group them together, once I find what to group it with, would you recommend I do 30 mins walks on eating days or fasting days? I don't only want to lose weight but to be healthier as well.
  3. Do you know of calories tracker app that also tracks fiber? The app I use only tracks carbs, protein and fat for free, you have to pay for fiber and such, which I absolutely refuse to do.

And that's it! I'm beyond happy with the progress so far, but I just want to make sure it's done in a healthy way.

Have a lovely weekend!
