Working on my speed and exploring my city

It's getting much easier to keep my average speed over 10mph. On the long path around the lake I was able to average over 12mph, but roads, traffic, and hills slowed me down for the rest of the ride. Still managed to average 9.8mph over 16 miles.

Is he really just leaving us like this?

Almost a month without another Disco Elysium stream? I can't believe he'd just abandon us like this.

EDIT: Y'all, this was a joke post complaining about the lack of Disco Elysium. Please read more than the headline.

Oliver Last Fit Question

Looking for some opinions on the Oliver Last.

My 6.5EEE Floyd lasted Brass boots and my 7EEE Leo lasted Diesels both fit similarly. Both are probably half a size large for me, but fit nicely with a 3mm leather insole added. And my Diesel’s needed a kiltie too.

Looking at the Oliver lasted Cap Toe Oxfords, since it runs on the smaller side I was assuming the 7E would probably be a good fit, but the 6.5EEE is also available. I reached out to GS too to see their opinion but I was wondering what you all thought too.

Thanks!

New Rocket Rambler

Got my first new board in over a decade. First time with more than 1 board since highschool. The BC has been serving me well for almost 20 years and is way more fun at lower speeds and shorter distances, but I'm stoked to have a LDP setup.

Rambler got delivered last night and I got it out for about 12 miles this morning. Doing longer distances on a dedicated LDP board is so much easier and faster on this thing. It feels amazing.

My only complaint is that I wish the concave continued further toward the front of the board instead of flattening out, but that's mostly because I've got small feet.

Well at least it's not above the fireplace...

Found this gem on zillow. It's mounted onto the kitchen island, so if you ever spill anything it's going to drip onto the back of your TV.

What I asked for VS what Igot

Saw this artwork on a flyer for Peregrine Tattoo at a tattoo convention a few years ago and thought it was sick. Asked the shop owner about it and he was super excited about the idea of tattooing it. The only changes I asked for were to make the falcon be standing on a branch, and to make the wings/halo a little larger. I'm super happy with it and just wanted to share.

The artist's name is Poohki from Peregrine Tattoo in Minneapolis, MN.

Freak Allergic Reaction

Little girl must have gotten bitten or stung by something at the dog park. She looked like picture 2 by the time I got home and picture 1 is how she looked by the time we got in the car to go to the vets office. Picture 3 is how she normally looks.

Vet gave her some steroids and Benadryl and she was looking better in minutes, but with so much swelling around her face and neck they sent us home with a steroid taper down too. It's been 5 days now and she's back to her goofy self.
