Looking for recommendations from the hive mind. I am a 32-year-old female with pre existing autoimmune conditions. Due to a myriad of symptoms, I have believed that I may be diabetic for some time and my doctors have been testing me for it. However, I am part of the military healthcare system, and I don’t have access to a great set of specialists. The endocrinologist that I have been seeing has suggested that I could be on the cusp of type two diabetes, however, I think type one sounds more likely? I’d like to arm myself with some questions about additional testing based off of recent lab work. My A1c typically floats around 5.6 and I just had a fasting blood test with a C peptide level of .51. From the research I’ve been doing, a C peptide of .51 could be considered low and potentially indicative of type one diabetes. Are there additional tests that I should ask my endo for in order to help me determine whether I am a diabetic or not?
We just bought a can am maverick and want to get set up with an intercom system on our helmets. We will have two young kids in the backseat. What intercom systems do you recommend? Looking for something that works but doesn’t break the bank.
