Triggered by food intolerances

I’ve found this subreddit so helpful in my GERD journey that I just wanted to share what triggers my symptoms in case it helps anyone.
After I was initially diagnosed with GERD I cut out gluten (and a lot of other foods as I was unsure what had caused the flare up). It took a few months to heal but eventually I was able to add all food back in.
Since then I’ve had a few other flare ups and discovered I’m also intolerant to
-oats
-amaranth
-chia seeds
-creatine
Most of these (except wheat which I can’t even have trace amounts of) don’t bother me unless I’m consuming them daily. The difference is like night and day. I go from being miserable and experiencing constant symptoms to mostly eating normally.
Hope this might help someone, I know everyone’s root causes are different.

Recently Diagnosed with CVI

Hello,
I’m 44 female with recently diagnosed with CVI after an ultrasound. I was told I have three options
-daily compression
-vein stripping at hospital, public funded procedure
-EVLA out of pocket, not covered by insurance $6650 for both legs

The doctor who diagnosed me obviously pushed for EVLA and guarantees the procedure. Any follow up procedures needed are of no cost. He also guaranteed that it would solve the CVI and I wouldn’t go on the have any issues (more varicose veins, spider veins, discoloured legs, etc)

I am leaning towards the EVLA despite the steep cost (they have a payment plan) but sort of curious about others experience, any areas I should research before hand. I’m not completely confident in the doctor’s opinion as he is obviously trying to make a ‘sale’.

ID for Geranium

Bought from a store selling plants, thought it was geranium maculatum. The forth photo is a more recent geranium maculatum I purchased that bloomed for the first time. Blooms were earlier and larger than the 1st.

Small Shade Garden Flowers

Zone 6b, small area between the house and a fence under trees. Progress has been so slow, it’s so nice to have earlier flowers this year.
