Honestly that's it I got my 8t back in 2020 or 2021 I think. I had it all through highschool and first jobs. College too. It was and is a great phone but I had already replaced the battery once, and it was failing me for the second time. That fast charging sure does deplete battery health.

While we are talking about battery, holy shit. This battery charges so fast and lasts super long it's actually wild. It gets a little hot when charging but nothing unexpected. I charge on something like a Cookie cooling rack. The cameras may not be the strong point of the phone but they are miles better than what was on the 8t. I'm a camera guy so I usually have a camera or two on me, but I find myself using the op15 camera more often than I used the camera from the 8t. The storage is great and fast. The ram and chip are fast. Gaming is cool. I can run steam games on my phone. The flashlight is brighter, odd I know. The speakers and mics are better. The wireless charging is cool too. I've actually used the IR lights and that worked well.

Overall I really like this phone. It was a hard buy when the pixel 10 pro was so cheap at the time. Maybe 600$. But I think I made the right choice. I found a nice case and it's held up well.

I am currently in a drunken slew, however, I can't seem to stop buying cases. I have probably spent a good couple hundred dollars on cases getting maybe a hundred or two hundred dollars worth of skins. I know I know. Buy the skins you like. I do. But there is just something about opening something from a case that is different. I know it's irresponsible- but I honestly can't help myself. I feel too ashamed? To talk to my therapist about it. Is there anyone here who stopped doing this and can direct me in how they did that?
