Letting NFL teams sign some form of future contracts with UFL players beyond the 90 man roster

So I've seen people come up with the idea of letting their practice squad players play in the UFL to get game experience. Realistically though NFL teams want those players to be at OTAs and training camp as well as avoid injury in the UFL, so it just doesn't make sense to do this.

However the idea of having players in the UFL be connected to certain NFL teams is certainly a way of attracting more eyes on the UFL. So I would propose the following:

Allow NFL teams to sign up to 5 UFL players to a futures contract for after they finish playing in the UFL where they can then join the NFL team. In order to incentivize NFL teams to do this, we would make these 5 players be in addition to the 90 man roster limit i.e. leading up to the NFL season NFL teams could have 95 man rosters with 5 spots being reserved for UFL players.

This way we aren't having this competition between either having players train with an NFL team or be in the UFL. Instead they act as separate piles that NFL teams have and can draw on. It also means that before the UFL season starts we can have UFL players associated with certain NFL teams to help build excitement in the UFL.

Dan and Brandon have mentioned working on the worldbuilding for the Cosmere novel / series a lot of times on Intentionally Blank, but we haven't heard much beyond that.

Here we finally hear that there is traction on Dan Wells writing his Cosmere novel now that he's gotten some short stories and cowritten stuff finished.

I'm super excited to see what he writes and how it goes! I loved his "I am not a Serial Killer" series. I know its probably too fast but it would be awesome if this book became the release for Nexus in 2027
