Rivian Adventure Chargers worked great.
I took a short drive to the Village of Oak Creek today to check out the EV chargers. The Tesla Supercharger stations were full (before I took the photo) and the Rivian chargers were empty. I didn’t even know they were there!
I went from 23% to 90% in 23 minutes. Long enough to walk around and get a coffee at Bosa.
Then drove back through Sedona to check out the amazing red rocks that are always interesting to see.
Do Jeep owners hate other Jeep owners blinding headlights as much as I do?
Stupid bright low beam lights at night. Always a Jeep (and now F150s too).
Many boops today
We had lunch in Jerome, AZ today and Marshall received many boops. He can always use a few more though.
Made the right decision to charge
I was driving on I-40 yesterday and decided to try the Pilot/Flying J charger in Bellemont.
At 35% I could have made it home, but because the car is new, I’m interested in trying different charging stations.
I charged to 95% (achieved 255 kW) and continued on.
On I-17 there was a wreck that backed up the traffic for miles, and I just relaxed and listened to podcasts without a worry.
The takeaway was: charge when you can because you never know what’s up ahead.
