Portland's Jake Jabs?
IYKYK. I moved from Colorado where we had American Furniture Warehouse. It was a place to get ok-but-nothing-fancy furniture at decent prices. Is there anything comparable here in Portland?

Made a pilgrimage yesterday to the closest outlet to me (Woodburn, OR) which is about 45 minutes away. So, it's nice that I have one within reasonable distance, but probably also good that it's far enough away that it takes some effort to get there.
Overall the selection was pretty good in both men's and women's. It is of course very hit or miss as to what you will find. I found a good number of tops, but very few leggings in a good length for me (in other words, the leggings selection seemed to predominantly be 25" and above).
Purchased:
Swiftly relaxed long sleeve in lotus lavender
Love short sleeve t-shirts in burgundy bay, prep blue, and black
Define in deep marina and mirror silver -- my first regular define!
Not shown:
Swiftly relaxed SS in Mulberry spark. A shirt I already have in a different size! I should have paid more attention to the color. It just didn't occur to me that such a recent shirt/color would show up at the outlet already. Lesson learned for next time.
Not purchased:
Scuba oversized in indochine with gold zippers. Really wanted to like this because I love the color and it looks great with the gold but I wasn't sure how I liked the oversized fit + short length on me.
Hit the outlet today in my black define track jacket and Beyondfeel running shoes in jewelled magenta/light vapor/berry rumble. Ngl I got the shoes saying to myself I'd wear them running but I mostly just wanted hot pink sneakers haha. I *have* gone running in them a couple of times and they are a decent running shoe but I've been wearing them more as a daily shoe instead of regular runner.
Morning home workout fit is 23" Wunder Trains in Hawaiian blue paired with an Under Armour top. I broke my rule of never buying leggings without pockets but I really wanted to give WTs a try. Plus they were on WMTM for only $50 and for LLL leggings that's basically free. They're a great legging and great for home when I don't need pockets. The length is good on me but they are ever so slightly loose at the ankles which only drives me slightly crazy 🫠 Hawaiian blue is such a great color but hard to get on camera. It's more of a turquoise color than what shows up here.
A bit chilly, windy, and drizzly today. Almost talked myself out of going for a run but managed to get myself out there.
With the current weather it called for longer sleeves and longer leggings. Wearing: 23" Fast & Free leggings, Swiftly relaxed LS (updated fit) in Indochine, and my workhorse road running shoe, the Hoka Mach X 3.
The long sleeve version of the Swiftly relaxed is perfect for me, much like the short sleeve. It's so hard to get sleeves a good length and these hit right where I want them to.
Have a good weekend everyone!
First fit pic! Perfect PNW morning to hit the trails. You'll have to forgive the unfortunate mirror smudge -- I swear my clothes were clean before going out!
Wearing:
Swiftly relaxed Mulberry Spark
Fast & Free 19" black
Power stride tab socks
Hoka Speedgoat 5 GTX
A lot of people dislike the updated fit of the swiftly relaxed but I really like it. I also have both versions of the LS and like them both. It really is wild how different the old vs new fit is, though. Either fit is perfect for me as it's not too short and not too long. And depending on how you size it it can fit close but not tight.
The tab socks at one point were in "oops I carelessly washed these with a berry rumble shirt" pink but they have mostly faded back to white 😂
Happy mother's day to all the moms out there! Now that my run is done it's time to go give my mom a call.
