Food Tracking from other apps
With the food tracking being such a hot issue, I thought I'd post my solution. I use MyNetDiary but this will work with all apps, I'm sure.
Once I fill out a meal in my tracking app (MND) I take a screen shot of it and store this an all future screen shots in a folder in my photos app (making sure I crop it down to just the essentials PLUS the name of the meal, i.e. Lunch).
The I open Bevel, press the + sign at the bottom, select Import Food (top center), go to the folder holding your screenshots of your meals and select the meal you want, Bevel will now ask What are you eating? Not sure what is supposed to go here but I put which meal it is (Lunch, Dinner), and press Continue.
On the iPhone, I'm asked to select more or Keep selection, I always choose to Keep. The next screen asks me to go to my food log, press that.
Once processed, you'll see a list of your meals. Keep it or change something, your call. Now click, Add to log and you're done.
I also made sure that on my phone, I turned off the ability of Bevel to read food logs from Apple Health so that it doesn't duplicate the nutrients.
Side note about the storing screenshots in a folder. I eat the same breakfast most everyday. I know that that meal is already in my food folder so I don't need to screenshot it everyday
Hope this helps someone.
