Apple 3.5mm to lightning not working properly

About 2 months ago i bought some iems, the chu II, they have a 3.5mm, so i had to get an adapter for my iphone, i got the 3.5mm to lightning, today i was at the gym and about halfway through for no apparent reason they just started glitching out, when i would rotate the adapter cable around it would work at very specific angles, but otherwise would make weird noises or just not work at all. I didnt hit them or anything, they dont have any visible scars, and im sure its from the adapter since i tried on my friends phone who has a 3.5mm jack and it worked no problem, same on my computer. what could be the reason? and what should i do? do i buy the same dongle again or do i get another better one?

Blender crashing when rendering with cycles on HIP

For context I did not have any issues up until today. I'm on Blender 5.1 and have been for about 2 months no issue. Today i boot up blender and whenever I try to render in cycles I get the same error "Blender has stopped working, a problem has caused the program to stop functioning correctly" this also happened sometimes whenever I tried adding a new material to an object, but now seems to be fixed. I tried switching to default settings and moving back to HIP, crashes, I tried switching to older versions, crashes, I tried making new projects to see if it was because of this one, still crashes. I tried searching online and found a few posts about a similar problem but none of the fixes actually worked for me. Keep in mind I did not switch any settings or pc components or anything since I last used rendering with cycles with HIP. It just doesn't seem to work anymore.
