Double checking everything msp does - why am I even paying them?

It really seems as though the procedures to meet CMMC l2 make the company double check everything the msp is doing. What’s the purpose of outsourcing if the company still has to play IT Manger/ISSM and double check everything they’re doing?

Would anyone be able to point me to some simple table top exercise outlines that I can run through with my company?

Tiling several rooms / transitions

I’m tiling a kitchen/dining room which is a longer rectangular shape. I was going to run my 12”x24” tiles length ways to match the long running shape of the room. But then there’s a hallway perpendicular to it and a bathroom off the hallway. Do I break up the pattern? How? Some sort of transition between the rooms? I can’t keep the tile running all the way through all the rooms because the spacing and layout won’t look right.

If I use a thin client that simply attaches to Citrix and also have a virtual email client on iPhones, are those devices considered to be in the CUI boundary? Or because they’re virtual they are excluded? Being virtual the CUI wouldn’t be stored but it does display it.

Home Depot is charging for a moisture barrier-basically a piece of poly on the cement slab between slab and lvp. Is that really needed?

Anyone know any good affordable people or companies in town that will haul away junk? I checked Craigslist but it’s full of out of town companies.

I have some old vinyl flooring that I’m trying to remove. Seems like it has a paper layer to it. It’s stuff real good to the cement though. One of the floor scrapers on a long handle doesn’t chip away at it very good at all. What’s the secret to getting this stuff off?

I have a friend who’s had several dead beat renters this last year. Are there any good service companies or legal firms that will work on behalf of landlords to recuperate damages and unpaid rent?

I work with an msp. My CMMC procedures dictate that I pretty much review all the configurations, user accounts, group permissions, firewall configs?software baselines, a ton of stuff at a specific frequency during the year. To save a lot of time could I simply schedule a meeting with my msp, screenshare as they review all the info with me, and then I give feedback for changes or any issues? It could be a 4 hour meeting once a quarter but could’ve really efficient. If that works, what evidence could I save, so that I can prove this is being done?

I’m trying to create a list for entries that will track various items. For each item I need 3 managers to check a box or sign off on the item to show approval. But it needs to be logged to their account - evidence that they signed it. How can this be done?
