Anyone have any good recommendations for custom insoles? Don’t have a wife, but could still use a good boot fitter.

Got new boots last year didn’t end up using them, hoping to break them out, but had foot surgery and want to get some proper insoles. I hear Surefoot is the place to go for insoles… wanna make sure that I’m not leaving anyone out. TIA!

My Tumi collection so far. The grey pearl capsule collection really got me.

Finally decided on a Cabin+ after all my research! (included below for others)

After months of consideration and debate, I finally committed to a Origional (LVMH) Cabin+ in black.

My requirements were: Warranty (I’m a BIFL person), durability, frame/ hard side/ latches, quality, repairability, recyclability, and lastly - prestige. My budget was up to $1800. Backpacks I use: Tumi Expedition and Tumi Nomadic.

I tested, ordered, packed (Peak design cubes), rolled, examined and considered the following:

Zero Haliburton Pursuit line (Ace Co.) travel case
Color: Silver
Size: Med, Continental Carry-On, International Carry-On

Tumi 19 Degree Aluminum Carry-on
Colors: Black & Silver
Size: international and continental Carry-On

Tumi 19 Degree Frame
Colors: Navy & Black
Size: international Carry-On

Tumi 19 Degree Lite
Colors: Navy & Black
Color: Wine
Size: International Carry-On

Impressions:
The cabin+ is bigger than I thought- I love it but with all cabin+ models I’m glad I’m US based and fly the larger planes.

The Cabin+ won because of the warranty and extra somewhat stealthy size.

The Zero Haliburton Pursuit is better quality and has the best interior packing system and feels more premium. Yes, I said it- the internal organization better than Tumi. If ZH had a better warranty and worldwide support, I’d buy one of each. They are about as heavy as the Tumi aluminum cases.

The 19 degree Aluminum cases are absolute tanks. It’s unfortunate to me that their warranty is only 1 year NQA and then 5 years paid service. Their customer service is “meh” at best, but like that they have a store in most areas across the world.

The 19 Degree Lite was a kismet find and a bonus bag. It’s light, built very well, has slight give when packing it out. My qualm is that it doesn’t have a side handle, only top.

Ask away if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer!

I think I’ve officially overthought this and could use some real-world input. I’ve read and looked at all the pictures and comments here and in flyertalk as well.

Main question: Can I get by with a Origional Cabin?

For those who’ve done similar trips:

Was the Cabin enough for ~10–11 days with a possible laundry refresh?

I’m not too concerned about overhead bin fit, I know if I go with a Plus it can be hit or miss and I’m US based, so it should be fine over here if I need to go that route. I’m more focused on whether the extra space is actually warranted.

TLDR: On the fence about a cabin or cabin plus

Trip details: Experienced traveler and flyer

Edit: Traveling during October
