Pelvic floor surgery
I have questions in relation to pelvic floor repair surgery but finding it hard to get real life answers.
Has anyone had pelvic floor repair (rectocele, posterior and perineal), and be willing to share how it went?
Childbirth and years of endo pain and bowel straining (retroversion in bowels caused by endo that was apparently released in last lap, yet here we are 🫣) has brought me to this point, and while I've had numerous surgeries and not been nervous for a single one, this one has me absolutely terrified! I'm an up and active within 2 days after a lap kinda person (which isn't a good thing, I'm not great at reading my bodies pain signals anymore) but reading about this surgery it looks like I'll be bed ridden for some time. I'm also reading the pain while recovering is awful.
I'm absolutely terrified at the thoughts of sex after too. Any info or advice would be so appreciated x
