New (to me) Boat - Looking For Repair Suggestions

Picked up off Marketplace. Wenonah Sundowner 18' Tuf-Weave.

I have a small puncture hole in the side and a small bit of delamination on the inside bow floor.

I am wondering if I can just fill both of these at least to get me through October or should I just ignore them until after the season?

I figure over the winter I can put in the time to properly fix them.

I have never personally laid up fiberglass but I probably should learn. I have a guy that fixes all my kayaks as I tend to be rough on them so I could easily take this to him and just have him go over the entire thing.

The boat weighs in at 62lbs which I thought was pretty damn impressive. I honestly thought looking at the pictures on Marketplace it was going to be 80lbs and when I picked it up I thought it was about 50lbs, I was shocked at how light it felt.

According to the Serial Number it was built in November of 1988 as an 89 model.

I figure it was worth a chancing a few hundred dollars and I think I came out ok.

Here are some pictures of the repairs needed and a couple snaps of the boat.

Just Ordered NRS Bill's Dry Bag 110l, Hope it's a Good Choice?

Finally getting around to building my canoe camping set up. I pretty much have everything I need as an avid backpacker and camper but my kiddo has been bugging me to get some overnight canoe trips in.

One piece I was missing was the big dry bag. Found it on sale for $180US so I am hoping it is a good choice?

Can You Identify This Knife Maker Out of Montana?

This is the only pic I have to work with. The sheath has an outline brand of the state. It seems to be a pretty generic mark. I would like to find the artisan if they exist, not sure if this is just a generic manufactured overseas knife.

It was photographed in a gift shop near Glacier.

I have searched but while there are a lot of knife makers in Montana, I can't find one with this specific branding.

How Do I Stop The Shortcuts??

EDIT: I went back to Bonjourr and with some of my sloppy CSS I was able to replicate what I actually want. It would be nice if Firefox would just make a simple switch for it.

I am on Windows 11.

Just moved back to Firefox after using Chrome for the past 15 or so years. I like the shortcuts in Chrome on a blank tab because it gets me to the sites I need quick.

Firefox has the same thing but it just keeps filling with nonsense.

I have dug around other forums and have changed a half dozen different settings in the about:config but nothing has stopped it yet.

I have also tried a couple of extensions like New Tab Tools and a couple others but they either look terrible or don't do what I want.

I don't want to turn off my history as I use it quite often. I like the shortcuts so I also don't want to turn that off.

I just want 8 shortcuts on a blank new tab page and not the other 16 that are just recent random sites I have gone to. What is worse is the random shortcuts start bumping my pinned shortcuts which is weird that I can pin them if they are just going to get bumped around.

This has to be possible right? It is such a weird design to have my new tab filled with random news stories that I have already read, I don't plan to read them again and don't need a shortcut automatically created for them.

Everything else with the move has been great, finding a lot of different things that I didn't have in Chrome that I really like. BUT, every time I open a new tab it is like nails on a chalkboard for my eyes.

I think I am dying every time I have a Dr appt.

I don't know how to deal with it anymore. It is to the point I don't want to go but I tell myself I have to.

In the past 5 years I have had experiences that have caused me to elevate my anxiety.

Went in for a heart CT once "for fun". It checks for clogged arteries and is $25. I thought good piece of mind. They ended up finding a growth on my lung that gave me three years of anxiety. Ended up being nothing but I am certain that the stress I put on myself took more time off my heart than getting the scan helped. Arteries were clean at least.

I had to go in for a tooth issue and there was a "growth" under the tooth which ended up as an extraction and biopsy. Of course it came back fine but it was another two months of thinking the worst.

Today I am going in for another tooth related issue. Appears to be a bad root canal. Just going in for the consult.

I am absolutely peaked on anxiety thinking about going to it.

Worst part is if they end up sending me somewhere else I am going on vacation so I am going to be thinking about it the entire duration of my vacation. It will haunt me.

I keep telling myself that if there is something in there causing me to die it is there if the doctor sees it or not. Kind of helps I guess.

I just need a way to get off this ledge of anxiety.

I know, I should be medicated but that won't happen in the next week.

Any tips or thoughts?
