Shaman - Soma The Pipa and Neutral Labs Elmyra 2

The Shaman — a piece exploring the intersection of two unique instruments: Soma The Pipe and Neutral Labs Elmyra 2. Both are known for their experimental, expressive qualities, so combining them for improvised, free performance makes perfect sense and I love it (still, I know I need to exercise it much more lol).

Gear:

Soma The Pipe
Neutral Labs Elmyra2 (Drones, Pads)
Soma ROAT (8-bit Holyness)
1010 Music Bluebox (FX, Mixer)
Walrus QI Etherealizer (Multieffect)

leads to quite heavy noises so I re-connected them and decided to let them run with external power strips (which is low noise now).

While doing the work, I started this jam :D I love the long progression and the brass which I sampled and sequenced on the Tangerine. I also added additional TRS cables to the Bluebox inputs and for this track I hooked up the tiny Roland S1 for the arps.

1010 Music Bluebox (FX, Mixer)
1010 Music nanobox Lemondrop (Granularity)
Walrus QI Etherealizer (Multieffect)

Last Monday, I finally got to try out my new mobile setup exactly where I'd always imagined: in the Alps. The viewpoint in Amden at the Walensee is absolutely breathtaking and truly inspiring! I was incredibly lucky that there were very few tourists around, and several delta gliders took off right in front of my eyes. The atmosphere was indescribable, and I definitely captured around 2 hours of jam material. Here's a small excerpt for you.

Just exercising with my little setup - tomorrow will be a sunny day, I have off and booked a car to jam in the nature. Looking forward to it. Meanwhile, I just did this little melodic something :D Cheers
