I finished a class with a C-. This class counts towards my major requirements. Do I need to retake it?

My final grade in Physics II (PHYS 260) was a C-. I have earned hours towards my other classes except this one, so I think I needed a C or better to “pass”. I already preregistered for the class ahead of time because I was anticipating that I had failed.

Just failed a class (or at least, I think I’m going to). What’s the next best step?

I just got out of a Physics II final which I completely bombed. Throughout the semester, the professor COULD NOT teach, and it seemed like what I was learning in the lecture and in the recitation were two different things. I ended up teaching myself most of the material and this is what it has come to.

Any suggestions on what I should do now?
