Stan Smith lux
Bit of a long term gripe, just felt like sharing. Grabbed these Stan Smith Lux a couple years ago. Despite these being some of the very sharpest shoes I own, premium in every way, leather-lined even, I can almost never wear them because the “buttery lux leather” they’re made of is the squeakiest $hit you can ever imagine, drawing all sorts of embarrassing attention. Even outdoors they’re loud unless you’re in a busy or high traffic area. Have always been frustrated by this considering the hefty ‘lux’ price tag. Fair warning

Of all the egregious price-gouging happening at this store, this might be their worst offense yet. Panini World Cup stickers are for the people. 100% markup on individual sticker packs, 50% markup on boxes. No mention of the complimentary slap in the face that comes with every purchase

Refrigerator repair help
Last evening something shorted out in my fridge, caused a power outage. When power restored, plugged in, outlet works, no fridge light, but I can hear it clicking inside the control panel, so it’s manually cycling but nothings happening, it’s not conducting power where it needs to go (the thermostat)
Any recommendations for local repair? (Im hoping repair and not replace ☹️)
Found A+J Appliance on Google Maps, decent reviews, any experience with them?
Also found Flamingo in Bushwick with a whole lot of good reviews
Any feedback on pricing or horror stories from personal experience as to what this might entail would be helpful, very limited budget here
