If airmatic has no haters I am dead

Bought a c400 @ 50k miles and genuinely had no clue the airmatic would shit it’sself this quick lmao, it’s a nice feature & definitely improves the smoothness of the ride but it’s so unreliable from what I’ve heard & now what I’ve seen.

What I’m genuinely wondering is who the hell optioned airmatic on a c class. That’s something I’ve never personally seen until i bought this car, I want to do a conversion to coilovers but I also don’t want to ruin having airmatic. Any suggestions? Should I replace w/ arnott or try a conversion kit

Why did Mercedes stop making AMG-Lites around 2016?

One thing I’ve always liked about bmw is that there’s always a M-Lite version of their cars for people who want the fun, sporty performance without having the top trim price tag. For example

M5 - M550

M8 - M850

M6 - M650

But Mercedes completely discarded the 550’s

They killed off the e550, (which I think is a huge fumble, a w213 e550 coupe probably would’ve sold well)

Killed off the cls550, etc

The c43 never really made sense to me because its direct competitor is a m340i. M340i makes much more sense being a baby version of the m3 with both of them sharing 6 cylinders

How could the c43 have been a baby c63 with no V8? It should’ve been a c55 imo

Maybe I sound stupid but I’ve just always been annoyed of the lack of current gen amg lites

Some folks want powerful ass v8s without wanting 600HP
