I'm not here to vent, I'm here because I've run out of conventional options and I'm willing to try something unconventional.

Background: I'm an EU citizen with a Bac+4 in Informatics, and I've been living in Paris for 2 years. I came here as an international student and stayed because I wanted to build my career here. Since finishing my studies, I've been applying for entry-level IT roles (I'm open to any starting point in or adjacent to IT).

What I actually did, not just "applied online":

I didn't mass-apply. I read job descriptions carefully and only applied when I matched at least 80% of the requirements and could genuinely picture myself succeeding in the role.

I reached out directly to employees and hiring managers instead of just submitting through a portal.

I wrote a tailored motivation letter for every single application trying to understand what the company actually needed and explaining specifically why I'd be a strong fit.

I followed up properly after interviews.

The result: Several first-round interviews, and then... silence. No feedback, no second stage, no response to follow-ups. Just ghosted, repeatedly, despite doing everything the "right" way. I also tried building a network here, and it hasn't been enough on its own to open a door either. Sometimes it just doesn't work the way it's supposed to.

What I'm looking for: An entry-level role where I can actually start my career and grow it doesn't need to be a perfect match, just a real starting point. I need an international/English-speaking work environment as my French is intermediate and improving, but a client-facing role that requires fluent French isn't going to work right now.

What I'm offering: €3,000 to anyone who can actually get me a signed contract, or make a direct introduction that leads to one. To be clear I'm not looking for CV feedback, interview coaching, or job board suggestions. I've done that work already. I'm looking for a real connection to a real opportunity.
