Proud owner of a 2015 Patrol Platinum 🇯🇵😌 thank God!

Specs, V8 400hp (“big engine”)/ 211,000km run with good service history. Drives like a dream but PPI showed:

• AC intermittent.. mostly very good (gas or compressor)
• Steering rack leak (but turns smoothly)
• Tailgate motor inoperative (its holds open)
• Engine and gearbox mounts weak (feel vibration at idling and also vibration fast acceleration between 80-100kmph, guessing and hoping this is the mounts .. PPI included the tester driving up to 100kmph)

There are some other non immediate issues like bushing wear, one of the hydraulic shocks has a minor leak… again it goes over speed breakers and also corners so well.

Considering all the above I paid 47k 💴🤷‍♂️ not a steal but not overpriced either

TL;DR - Garage in Dubai that’s reasonably priced and also experienced with Patrols? Also, are the above issues expected, any advice in that regard? Thanks!

Also it’s been maintained at Dynatrade since 2017 (waiting for them to share the history) and a professional PPI was done by carchecker.ae including a test drive up to 100kmph)

Would like advice from any motorheads/ QX80 owners.

Looking for a car and was initially looking for a Nissan Patrol, but hard to find in decent condition given my budget. The best I found was near 50k (220k km on clock) and had about 15k in repairs (5-7k before I even started driving it), oh and multiple fender repairs and a full cosmetic respray… and this is the BEST I found in budget

Then, I found a 2016 QX80, 60k AED
• Seller has had to leave urgently
• Car is 128,000km on clock
• FSH with proof from 0 - today (Dynatrade not agency)
• Super clean inside and out, no scratches, repaint or accidents (looks like it’s been rolled out of the showroom)
• Drives like a dream, nothing I can fault! (Except a dodgy side mirror that won’t fold)
• GCC spec

TL;DR

• Why this price? an equivalent Patrol would be 85-90k
Is Infiniti demand that bad? is it that much more expensive than a Nissan Patrol to get fixed?
• Is it too good to be true? Should I stay far away and keep looking for Patrols?
• Is it going to be really hard for me to resell? (Reselling is as much as a priority as driving it stress free… the patrol wins on resale but it’s in terrible condition … so I guess I want to have my cake and eat it 🤷‍♂️)

Any advice appreciated, stuck in decision paralysis!
