Long time dip addict trying to get away from the salon cycle.

I have worn dip powder on my nails for decades, with intermittent breaks. Every time I pay almost $200 for a mani/pedi with tip I swear I am going to stop and work on my nail’s myself but I always go back to the pull of the quick and easy route. My natural nails are always trashed underneath and I regret it. I have grown out the damage and now focusing on learning to shape them properly and keep them strong and flexible, and keeping the cuticles and sides nice. I am trying to get in the habit of oiling with jojoba a few times a day because I live in an arid climate. Here I am wearing:

Zoya Naked Base
Zoya Naked Manicure Lavender Perfector two coats
Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal

I love paper and pen and I have things to say. Maybe they aren’t interesting but maybe that’s not always the point. I would love to meet people anywhere in the world, any age or gender, any hobbies or interests, but kindness is a must.

I live near the Rocky Mountains. I love to read and bake sourdough bread. I practice yoga and roller skate. I have had a few different iterations of career and they don’t really matter for this purpose. I like video games, love board games, and have been delving into solo table top gaming and role playing which essentially means talking to myself but that’s okay. I hate Nazis and fascists and tell them to their face, which I never imagined them being willing to show in America but here we are. I’m a chubby middle aged lady with a very sweet long term partner and grown kids. I like to crochet and am trying to learn to draw. I collect tarot cards and yes I can read them. I’m interested in other people’s stories, culture, and thoughts.

I hope to hear from you!
