Free online platform to learn chip design

Hey all,

Me and some friends spent the last few months compiling open source tools into a cloud platform for chip design, sort of GitHub or leet code style, with the goal of designing it to be more accessible to learners than the current EDA tools.

We've also put some learning courses into it to explain the fundamentals of chip design, with the idea being that people will soon be able to add their own courses to a shared community library.

The end goal for the platform is to essentially build a platform that covers the whole learning journey from getting started, all the way to helping someone get a job.

I know this reddit can be pretty brutal so I am sure it will get rinsed, so please bear in mind this is a work in progress. We built it because there are so many people asking how to get into chip design, with very few actual paths beside a masters degree.

The site is at www.vulkos.co.uk, and (I say this nervously) - it would be great to hear what you think.

How do people self teach for digital design on a budget?

Ive been using LibreLane and YouTube videos so far (combined with a LOT of Claude), but there's got to be a better way. Ive been debating joining the Zero to Asic course, but I wanted to know what's out there and worth looking at.

Any useful resources people have used/heard of that are free or cheap to use? Thanks guys :)
