The number of J6ers who are convicted of being pedos or get killed by cops or arrested is way way outside the norm and it’s time to gleefully shove this up their asses.

Andrew Paul Johnson — child molestation / child sexual abuse charges involving minors; later convicted.

Andrew Taake — online solicitation of a minor (explicit communications with someone believed to be a 15-year-old).

David Paul Daniel — charged with production and possession of child pornography; allegations also included sexual abuse of minors.

Kyle Travis Colton — charged and later convicted in a child pornography receipt case.

Parker J. Bena — child pornography possession case.

It’s Guns. Before you downvote at least read for a moment. Let that rage build or see if I make sense.

Background: Dems right now have about a 4% structural disadvantage. And the stagnation of the culture war lines means that’s almost impossible to overcome for more than one election cycle. And that’s bad.

So let’s be bold. Break the culture war battle lines. Call to stop banning guns, you can’t ban pistols anyhow because of Heller, so you’re mostly wasting time and political power without a real result.

Do other popular gun legislation. Hold parents accountable if kids get guns. Require locked guns. Red flag laws that don’t let Trump lock up Dems.

use the rise of fascism and masked govt goons as your reason. I promise you that 4% exists to be converted.

Combine with attacking AI and billionaires you’ve lowered the cost of entry to switch sides. It happens periodically in politics. Big realignments happen.

Guns are the key to winning the amount of republicans you need to end this 4% systemic disadvantage. End the Democratic Party obsession with gun bans.

Remember, There’s a lot of gun reforms you can do that are not bans.

Sarah leads one of the largest independent media companies in the US. On the next level she asked why people aren’t in the streets, the we need 3.5% involved.

Isn’t this a chance to take everything she’s learned from the focus groups and get people out and protesting.

This is something I’ve been trying to figure out and it clicked with the latest focus morons. The Bulwark, Pod Save, the Democrats etc are earnest. They want things to get better. Optimistic even. Hell that’s my default state too.

And yet there’s no evidence to support such an outcome being possible because serious people have no place in their media diet.

This is a deeply unserious time, ballroom, swimming pool, masked agents breaking and entering, insider corruption, massive inflation.

And we give it an air of normalcy by talking about those events. We cement those actions. We don’t derail the. I think JVL is right that the only effective answer is full Joker. In the WWE sense.

The focus group is like the South Park wrestling episode. The only wrestling they want is drama. Trump knows how to create drama daily that the serious people then have to discuss.

I’ll argue Platner has done an okay job breaking that cycle productively. Newsome has at times, but can’t do it regularly and also can’t help his worst instincts for complicated pointless answers.

So that Joker/WWE approach is probably the only way to move the needle. Like JVL I don’t want that, but what if it’s the only realistic option.
