Emulated rhythm heaven megamix is too hard for me

I seriously find it way too hard for me. But it is my first rhythm heaven game and Im not good at rhythm games at all (fnf, RoTN).

I have "excellented" most of the levels (at the 6 temple section). But gosh it was a pain, and I wasted 11 hours on coin toss and still couldn't get 30 catches (26 is highest).

Please tell me if I am just buns at the game or if it is because of the emulator!!

Front sensor, any way to fix or replace it?

I had a little kid who "played" with the robot. I think he used something sharp like a scissor that gave that deep scratch on the front sensor. Anything I could do that dosent involve me buying a new 500$ robot?

Tried searching for replacements, but couldn't find any myself.
