Formal medical decisions meeting-What to do?
My daughter had SSI since birth from premature birth and needing therapy’s across many domains. She is four now and diagnosed with mild autism, speech delay and adhd. Shes in aba, speech and occupational therapy and they are trying to remove her benefits.
I appealed and they called for a formal meeting where they want her to attend. I’m a bit nervous because in person my daughter’s limitations are not as visually seen more than it is cognitive, anxiety and fine motor disability, but she needs this therapy’s to continue. So I’m afraid going may hurt our chance of re-approval VS them just referring to the doctor and therapy notes.
What would you all do, go to the meeting or leave it to the officials to review on their own?
