My xp machine pops up this error every time I try to play the Sims 2 any idea on how to fix it?

Plan for a fossil wand with a jade ore pommel

This is my plan for a sculpted clay wand made from a fossil tooth with some jade ore at the base would love any feed back. Plan on geting the stuff to make it this week and will be useing clay and an armature to make it real

My xp machine (older pc) isn't wanting to use my mouse

I am trying to get a old pc i have running but it won't let my mouse work and keeps summoning the hardware wizard. Google says my mouse is plugged and play (a VicTsing wired USB mouse) I just wana play the Sims 2 using my physical collection but it's being a butt about the mouse
