Kim's Daylight Donuts (81st & 145th)

When does Kim's Daylight Donuts cook the donuts? Few weeks ago i stopped by around 4:30am and they already had lots of donuts on racks. The donuts didn't taste like they were cooked in past 2 hours.

Daylight Donut on main street you can tell they were cooked within past hour if you go around 5:30am.

Coweta Police provide update on City of Coweta investigation 🤡🌏

Coweta Chief of Police failed to do a proper investigation which Ron Durbin exposes. The Chief of Police for Coweta couldn't handle being asked questions that required critical thinking. I know some people don't like Ron Durbin but you have to give him credit for being there and asking the hard questions about how city of Coweta handled the data center fiasco.

Fox News and other media outlets there covering this update didn't care to ask any questions like Ron was asking.

[Viofo A119 mini2] Not a turn lane

You would think double yellow lines would give that driver a hint there's no dedicated turn lane. My city picked the worst road construction companies they could find. The brand new concrete lane cars are currently driving up has so many bumps. There's 30+ year old concrete before it that's smoother.

Jimmy's New York Pizzeria (Closed)

Just noticed Jimmy's New York Pizzeria is permanently closed. Can't say I'm not surprised at all by this. The last time i went there it was dead at 5pm and my pizza was lacking toppings. Payed over $23 for a pizza, it shouldn't have lots of space between toppings.

New Oklahoma law allows year-round fireworks sales, legalizes bottle rockets

>Signed into law by Gov. Kevin Stitt on May 29, the Rocket’s Red Glare Act, a nod to the United States’ national anthem, will allow fireworks to be sold year-round instead of only for Independence Day and New Year’s.

Before you start planning a random fireworks show, remember: Oklahoma weather has to cooperate.

Fireworks may only be discharged on private property when ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • Sustained winds are 20 mph or less
  • Relative humidity is above 25%
  • Ten-hour dead fuel moisture is above 9%

If even ONE of those conditions isn't met, fireworks cannot legally be discharged under state law.

Additionally:

  • No county burn ban may be in effect
  • The local responding fire department must be notified before lighting fireworks
  • The display must be on private property and for a noncommercial purpose

And don't forget: cities can still make their own rules. While Oklahoma now allows year-round sales and use under certain conditions, municipalities may still prohibit or restrict fireworks within city limits.

Sidewalk railroad crossing by Rhema (finally).

Looks like the railroad company finished expanding the rail grade crossing on 71st by Rhema to allow sidewalk crossing on both sides of the street. Why it took until 2026 for this to happen is anyone's guess.

Not sure if it will happen this year. The city has plans to add a new sidewalk path in front of Rhema. That will help keep pedestrians from having to cross the road to have a safe path to walk on.

Rooster Days 2026 - May 14-17

It's that time of year again for Rooster Day's. If anyone does go to it, let us know how much funnel cakes, Turkey legs and drinks were this year. Did they improve ride quality compared to last year?
