I believe the plans changed last year and I'd been on a 1 year trial of some sort.

I'd been paying about £80 a year for 2TB Drive space and a good amount of Google Home camera history. Now I discover my camera history has gone to 3 hours max.

I have a Google Drive full of photos etc so I need my 2TB of space - and I of course want more than 3 hours of camera history.

So they've trapped me into needing to buy an upgraded Google AI Plus (5 TB) plan for both of those benefits... it's an extra £110 a year.

I see what people mean now about how they feel trapped by Google. I guess I'll have to start moving away from the Google ecosystem as I have no doubt the prices are only going to slowly increase further from here.

A power line has broken somewhere and my neighbours lost power.

The power company people are going to want to dig up my front garden to repair it. This requires moving/digging up some new/small trees and other plants.

Do I have any legal rights to stop them? Or make them dig in at the pavement to thread new cables through perhaps?

I don't want to just agree to this only to find out I didn't -have- to let the.

Thanks!

How can I get tickets?

Unfortunately the ballot closed after just a few hours on 14 August. The ballot was for the first 6 episodes. As there are 12 episodes in series 2, we expect the ballot to reopen at some point.

When will it reopen?

We do not yet know. Keep an eye on SNL UK social media! We would guess sometime in October.

How are ticket winners decided?

There is no confirmation on how winners are picked, and it may not be random. On the ballot form, there was the question along the lines of... 'Why would you love tickets?'... So the organizers may pick their favorites from those answers!

Can I give away my tickets?

If you win, you will get two tickets. The person who entered the ballot MUST attend. Your ID will be checked to ensure it matches the entry details. The ticket holder can then share their other ticket with whoever they wish.

I'm famous and important, can I get a VIP ticket?

Yes! Each week there are multiple 'VIPs'. These can be celebrities or even just friends/family of the cast. You will have to know the right people to get a VIP ticket..!

Will I know if my ticket is for the floor or upper seating?

No, this is not decided until you enter the studio. The crew pick shorter people to sit on the floor area to avoid tall people obscuring the camera. If you are not comfortable sitting on the floor area, you can opt to sit higher up.

What types of ticket are there?

You might get a ticket for the dress rehearsal (early evening) or the live show (later evening). You may also get either a ticket which guarantees entry, or you may get a ticket to be in the standby line. Standby line does not guarantee entry.

How can I learn more about the audience experience?

Have a read of this write-up!

I recently bought a gaming PC (around £800). It has a AMD Ryzen 5 5500 and other decent enough spec. I don't want to have to built a PC myself, I don't have the skill or time (I know you might tell me it's easy).

The PC came and it seemed good, but after two days it no longer powers up so I will likely return it. I wonder if this is the downside of a prebuilt gaming PC like this (the brand is XUM) - I feel like the prebuilt nature could make them unreliable.

Given that I only want to edit some videos and play games very casually (nothing super high spec and intensive), perhaps I'm better off getting a PC from a well known brand... something more reliable and straightforward... like this Dell?

Any thoughts appreciated!

I've seen talk about the conference lately, but haven't seen any emails. Does anyone know when they go on sale for regular party members?

The place to discuss and review series 1 of SNL UK!

What worked well, what didn't? Which cast members did you love? Which sketch was your favourite?
