2014 cr-v with about 80K miles. Symptoms - occasional clicking-no start condition. Tests done - measured voltage at batt. terminals = 12.4V. With engine running = same 12.45V. Installed new remanuf. alternator and new battery. Tests - with running engine = voltage raises to 14.5V, then drops within a second or two to 13.5V, and steadily (within 5-7 seconds) drops to 12.4V. fuse is good. The ground point is cleaned. the batt. posts and cable terminals were cleaned. Alternator bought from Rockauto.

What could be the problem?

Hi, everyone. My trailcam flickers in night video mode - every half a second the scene is illuminated twice as bright. It happens with fresh batteries, too. Does anyone know the cause and how to fix this problem? I though that the capacitors went bad, but I didn't check the internals, yet.

Hi, everyone. I'm in process of removing the old kitchen tiles and replacing them with vinyl laminate flooring (5 mm thick, waterproof, interlocking, with thin layer of rubber padding). Some tiles came out without mortar, but some - with it, leaving "holes" on the mortar bed. I filled these holes with mortar mix and leveled the patches flush with old surface of mortar bed.

How much time do I need to allow for the patches of mortar to dry before installation of new flooring?

Hi, fellas.
I'm in a process of installing a remote door locks.
What I want is to have the locks open and close remotely and via a switch on the center console.
The actuators are stock, used, the RC is aftermarket. The locks don't have the micro switches.

I made the mock ups:
1 - RC with battery, remote and actuator - all works as intended.
2 - battery, actuator and 6-pin DPDT momentary on switch with reversing polarity - all works.
3 - when I hook up the switch, the switch doesn't work - rather it passes about 0.3V and the actuator doesn't move. Remote works.

What's wrong? Why? and how can I make the switch operable?
