Does buying stuff with amex online make all purchases be paid in USD?

I recently got an Amex card for the first time, and this might be my first online purchase using it. But wWhen I try to buy these items, AliExpress forces the payment into USD instead of CAD. Is this just how AliExpress handles Amex payments, or does Amex always process transactions in USD on any website? And will I be charged a foreign exchange fee?

Amex tracking link stops working, is that normal?

I just got myself a amex card for the first time but when I click track my card it no longer brings me to the tracking page instead it leads it to homepage

What should someone do when buying second hand gear?

I am trying to get into biking, and before all the prequesite I need to get gear for training course. So like if I am going second hand what is a rule of thumb? What do I avoid buying and should always get new?
