Anyway, I've come here to ask if anyone is familiar with the Avenir cymbal line from the Drum Center of Portsmouth.
The cymbals are advertised as "pro-level on a budget". This is the amber line of the Avenir's, and I love the way they sound. I want to get a 16" crash but I'm trivial with how they'll truly sound, especially for so cheap!!

I want to get some opinions from drummers here that have actually messed with them, so please don't hesitate to leave a comment, ur feedback is appreciated 👍

yes i put way too much time into editing this and i did it in a way that you have to pause every five seconds

anyway here's how i cleaned my ride so i can make a lil more money when selling it... personally not a fan of the wash of it 🤷‍♂️

(it's secretly barkeepers cleanser but shhhhh... might post the footage if this gets traction)

had to play drums at a camp i was a counselor at, thought it was the perfect time to actually
make the step and get my second k cymbal (my first was that ride pictured, and i got it gifted to me! how crazy is that?)

this is kinda just a post showing off my new hats lol. bought before the price hike so i got them for $570~. i love them. also dont ask why there was a pen i left my sticks in the car and i didnt want to walk all the way down from the chapel where i was playing to go back haha

now i either get k dark thins or k sweet...

i got my first k sweets today. a pair of 14" hi-hats. i got my mic downstairs and recorded as fast as i can (fuck the iphone audio lol) and they are so gorgeous

best part is, the shop decided to hand it over for the OG $530 price mark before the increase! these were a floor model and slightly used before I possessed them, but hell if I care. they're beautiful cymbals. only thing i regret is missing out for so long

so there's this wonderful line of low volume cymbals by arborea. they're bright, but quiet (wow almost like that's what low volume means). i wanted to spray paint some of my cymbals to match the Twenty One Pilots Album "Clancy"'s aesthetic. I ended up putting WAY too much coating on the ride, (unlike my crash and hats) and it's since become very dry. thing is, i've come to
love how it sounds.
now, im trying to translate that into real cymbals. specifically the K line. The K line isn't so much that i need them but i love the cymbals and getting a pack of them has been a goal of mine as a drummer for a long time for their versatility and sound etc etc...
so now, im lost on finding a cymbal that will eat as much power as i put down on the ride and still sound coherent. the video is attached above, so if you can cross ref with another cymbal I might like from the K line or from Zildjian, Id appreciate it!

GA is going to be egregious, same for pretty much any floor level (H, J, and K should be lower) . I know seats will be significantly cheaper (more accurately: i hope)

i honestly would rather be in GA, J, or the seats. where will you be sitting??
