Benzo withdrawal/recovery

I was on 30mg Temazapam, 100mg Trazadone and 0.5mg Clonazepam for 2 years. The side effects of the Temezapam (maybe both benzos combined) were causing so much GI distress that it was actually keeping me from SLEEPING. I unfortunately have to intervene, get checked into detox and get off of them. I’ve been off them for 5 weeks, the GI distress has gone away but now I’m having rebound insomnia. And it feels like no matter what med/combo I cant get more a few hours of non restorative sleep a night. And I’m most likely to go lose my job because I can’t go back to work in this state.

Anybody have any idea how much longer this is going to last? I’m fearful that I’m going to fall into depression from sleep deprivation. I’m currently trying 100mg Hydroxizine, 200mg Trazadone and 800mg Gabapentin. And starting taking 100mg Zoloft to fight any oncoming depression. How much longer can this go on for?

Benzo withdrawal

I currently am 10 days in benzo withdrawal. Starting day 5 | had tachycardia, low-grade temp, tremors/ shakes. Those have started to come down, but I did not sleep from day five until last night. What has been other people's experiences with this withdrawal? My psychiatrist gave me mirtazapine to try. I took it last night. It made me really drowsy and it felt like I was asleep for 5 to 6 hours but today partly felt like I wasn't. Plus I guess this medication causes a lot of grogginess the next day which I definitely felt. Any advice on this matter would be greatly helpful. How much longer is this insomnia going to continue for? Is it going to be a lot longer? I’m trying to determine whether I can do this or not or am I going to have to reinstate the benzos and then do slow taper. I'm currently on 800mg gabapentin and the 7.5mg mirtazipine both at night.
And the meds I was taking before the benzo stop was 30 mg Temazapam,
100 mg trazodone and 0.5 mg
clonazepam each once at night used for sleep over 2 years. I’m taking off about 6 weeks off from work to get through this hardest part of the recovery. I’m thinking this will be enough time to at least be able to start getting some sleep again. What are your thoughts about this? Will this be enough time?

Going through Benzo withdrawal

I was taking 30mg for Temazepam, 0.5mg Clonazepan and 100 mg trazadone for 2 years for sleep. Went through detox for a couple days and I’m now one week of benzos. Im starting to get withdrawal symptoms. Rapid heart rate no higher than 90 bpm, light chills and a low grade fever. The tachycardia has not allowed me to sleep for the past few days even with what the psychiatrist is giving me. He has me on Gabapentin 400mg 3x daily, Triliptal 300mg 3x daily, and 100mg trazadone at night. I was one this in addition to Librium for the 4 days in detox and they caused fecal impacting. TMI but it was so bad I have to manual pull some of the poop out. I've gone down to take these medications at night because of this. But with tachycardia these medications are not helping me sleep. When I lay down I can feel the rapid heart beat in my chest and in my ears as my head is resting against the pillow. I'm waiting to hear back from the new psychiatrist assigned to now but am I going to need to take a different benzo for a bit at a lower dose just to stabilize and the taper off it?Because it feels like that's what I'm going to have to do with these withdrawal symptoms. They did give me Librium 25mg for the 4 days I was in detox along with the other meds and I was able to sleep every night then. Maybe I can take Librium at that lower dose for a few days at a time on/off to help get through the withdrawal process. I've taken time off of work for 6 weeks but I can't be going everyday w/o sleep and don't want to lose my job. Anyone has some thoughts/suggestions from their own experience?
