I can’t buy snacks cause it’ll mess up the diet

I don’t have an issue with normal foods, and certainly not fruits or vegetables. But on the foods I do like, i dont care to buy it. Like I walked past peanut butter yesterday and I thought okay if I buy that I’ll likely end up eating from the whole jar, or I’ll eat it in like 2 days. Which for reference would be 1000 kcal/per day. And don’t even get me started on cookies. I can’t have 1-2. It’s like my brain goes nope it’s the whole thing or nothing at all. HELP what do I do?

Is this NORMAL tennis coaching?

I just had first time ever tennis session/coaching. It was only me since no one else showed up apparently. The coach was a man in his 50s.

He asked me first if I’m comfortable with touching, I said no. Preferably not. And he said ok cause I always ask! The session went on for like 30-40 mins. As he would show me how to hold the racket he held it with me. He would stand behind me to show me how to swing the racket. Then he said you gotta bend your knees and your butt has to be here and be poked my butt with the racket. Then he said “your foot needs to be here” and he poked my foot with his hand. I said like 5 times im not comfortable with being poked or touched. I also felt like I couldn’t leave either cause he was all okay imma throw this ball at you now then this then this. Oh and he said i was standing too much on my heels. And said if he could push me I laughed and said Uhm no. Then he did anyway and said see if you get a hard ball youd fall over. And then I accidentally hit a ball at him and said sorry and he was like it’s fine im standing behind this basket for a reason (basket covering his crotch). After the session he asked if I wanted to play some more I said no and that the whole session for me was way too touchy. He said okay I just find it hard to instruct people otherwise but I’ll remember that. Anyway im never returning to that guy. But is this NORMAL for you tennis players? Is this how your coaching sessions are?

Is it “emotionally needy” to request that a friend sends a “how are you” -message, when you are grieving?

I recently lost a family member and have been a total mess. I requested that my friend of one year at least ask how im doing since she knew Whats been going on. Instead of days of absolute silence from her. And I was yet again just let down. I haven’t had many friends over the years but the few I’ve had, well they seemed to only be there when times were not tough. When things did get tough, there would only be 0 texts, and no asking to meet up.

So I asked in a Facebook group, why do I end up in these friendship patterns? Thats when multiple people (10-15) ganged up on me. Calling me selfish, immature and emotionally needy. I got angry with one user, told them okay well I hope you end up in the same position as me and get called emotionally needy. Thats when people ganged up on me even more - talking about “oh youre wishing death on their loved one, youre awful, this is why your friends leave because the second things don’t go your way, you are this awful.”

Im sorry, I don’t see what I’m doing wrong. I am a believer in karma. I think we do reap what we sow and I do hope people that are callous do encounter that behavior by others. Does that make me “so bad”? And then my main question is - am I emotionally needy for having that expectation around friends? To me it’s the bare minimum. Im not asking anybody to show up at my door and be my psychologist for days. I just wanted a text that shows they care.

Hi guys. So far I’ve lost 9.7 lbs by eating around 1500-1600 calories daily and working out 3-4x weekly the past 13 weeks. I didn’t have anyone to share it with so just thought I’d share it on here for moral support. I’ve got like another 10 lbs to go.

Also im wondering if you guys have any advice for the rest of my journey?

I focus on protein and weight training (but not too hard since my goal is fat loss).
