My Haruhi figure(my only anime merch with a interesting back story)
Haruhi was the first anime I ever watched in 2016 (I was still a 10 year old child). Then I get obsessed with anime all my preadolescence, I was really a Otaku, but then I stopped, idk why, I never stopped completely , I watched some animes (mostly movies) but I was completely blocked and I had the sensation I didn't have time to watch anime (weird because I was in school, nowadays I'm in the university and I watch way more anime that in those times). Anyways, someday when I was like 14/15 years old I found this a figure in a second hand store in a town near my city. It was weird because Haruhi was not that popular in my country, not even in the 2000s according to the older anime fans in my country and finding a Haruhi figure in that store was really a treasure so I bought it. I restarted watching anime this year because a friend of mine recommended me grand blue to laugh (I did laugh a lot with grand blue) and I also started a MAL personal list and the first anime I rated was Haruhi.
I'm very happy that nowadays Haruhi is becoming popular again and the people of my generation are getting more interest in this fenomenal story, I become very euphoric every time I see something of Haruhi in main stream media, the younger me will be very happy today of having friends to speak about the kind of animes he always liked and thought no one in his country liked.
