Can I submit my end date (for the time claim) as December 2025, but submit a time claim for less?

Long story short, had to ask a former senior employee whether he can approve my time claim, due to difficulty with my former manager.

Issue is that senior employee left in June 2025.

Should I adjust the employment ending date to be June 2025 in this case, or can I keep it as the actual date of December 2025, and shorten the time claim?

What is currently the best AI model for my situation?

I've only been using the free versions so far, mostly for brain storming ideas and assisting with interview prep and work related tasks, however, I know I'm missing out on a lot more functionality and potential for either developing myself, my skills, or actually creating some form of income with it.

Content creation is the obvious one, however I'm not aware of how to utilise it for streamlining anything in terms of video editing, apart from learning the skill faster than watching tutorials for days upon days.

As everyone else - own business or freelancing would be ideal, but I am not sure what sort of business I can start myself at my current stage in life (medium level finance and accounting career, 5 years in, but mostly on the transactional side with a recent move into analysis and reporting).

I know my post is all over the place, but to summarise it briefly - What use cases and functionalities am I not aware of that could help me with the above mentioned issues, or in general would be worth knowing to stay ahead of the game/everyone else?

How do I go about discovering more? Which AI model should I go for?

How do I determine the % relevance of my role for the PER time claim?

The role I want to claim my time for had the following duties;

- Preparation of customer reports, detailing and summarising the breakdown of our share vs their share for the relevant period, detailed breakdown of each machine in use and the revenue, VAT, and share of profits.

- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for debtors and creditors

- Raising payments, invoices, contra-invoices, contra-journalling credit notes

- Creating/adjusting report structure for purposes of streamlining the process

- Minimal contact with customers, i.e. only for the purposes of clarifying and answering queries regarding the values. On few occassions liasing regarding contract change from legacy to new contract and adjusting reporting accordingly, in line with the discussions over email.

Am I able to put this as 100% relevant in this case?

(Former employer) How to deal with the lead of my department ignoring my requests to sign off my time?

They're not a qualified accountant and before leaving we agreed to sort out the PER objectives if needed. I didn't need those so I didn't reach out to them, however I've been sending the invitation for 3 months now (since February), texts to my former manager and started an email chain as well as I know it'll be easier to prove. My manager said she will need to verify with the lead of the dept. as we "agreed" to do this by the end of February, but the discussion revolved around the objectives, not the time sign off.

What can I do in this case? Safe to say the lead acted like a micromanaging child towards a lot of the people, so this isn't a one off just towards me.

Naturally it's doctrine dependent, I get that, but I'm trying to understand what to do beyond the early game, as later into the game, I don't know when to research, when to build and when to upgrade.

I like investing into my industries early on, which means at some point I will be low on resources.

I'm playing my 2nd game in a long time (I'm still quite new, maybe 10 games played from start to finish/defeat), as allies, and I'm just building AC, bombers and arty, but I'm struggling to grasp when to invest in more offensive troops, i.e. mech inf, tanks, etc.

Then comes the faction bonus/costs - I'm told light tanks and medium tanks are usually obsolete for allies, so should I avoid them completely?
