I just got into my first real volleyball team with no experience whatsoever. I only play volleyball as a hobby and it’s usually just peppering with friends.

I know basic things like 6 player each court, how points and scoring works, and Libero and setter. Other than that I don’t know all the niche little rules, actual volleyball positions (like what is DS??), and volleyball language/slang.

It’d also be helpful if anyone gave any tips whether it’s about performance, practice drills, unspoken vb rules, etc.

I also DK how to read the volleyball schedule that talks about the upcoming games (like what does “bye” mean..?)
