Subriel Matias was he really the boogeyman or just hyped up🤔
What matters more in P4P🤔 BoxRec People's P4P list
These are the 4 things i usually see in this community when it comes to P4P rankings. When making a P4P list, which of these should carry the most weight?
Eye test
Résumé
Accomplishments
Current Form (momentum)
Canelo could very well be #1 if you considering he meets 3 out of the 4 categories. There can also be an argument that Devin should be above Shakur as he meets all 4 categories and ect.
What yall thoughts 🤔
Does Tank Have A Better Argument To Be Higher Than Shakur On The P4P List🤔
I know Tank isnt active right now so the immediate answer would be no but say if he comes back tomorrow I think he has a good argument to be ahead of Shakur.
As far as resume quality Tank reigns supreme if you were to take there top wins and compare them the quality of opponents Tank has fought has been better.
In boxing we have this notion of resume matters but at the same time resumes don't matter as we saw Crawford beat Canelo, Teo beat Loma, and etc. But resumes are very important in determining how good someone is.
Imo if Tank were to come back tomorrow I'd put him over Kur in the p4p rankings.
Keyshawn pulling out the Haney fight was obvious🤷🏾♂️ His purse was too low he should've took that $3mi Bill offered 🤦🏽♂️
Jermall vs Andrade❗️How would this fight play out if it were to happen🤔
Why do something people believe Pacquiao had a better career than Floyd🤔
Is Keyshawn Overhyped At This Stage of His Career 🤔
I like Keyshawn don't get me wrong he's a great fighter but right now I feel he's overhyped for the body of work he's put in so far.
From an eye test perspective he looks elite but his resume doesn't put him as that caliber of an opponent that everyone else does. Who did he beat Jermaine? They guy known for giving people tough matches. Berinchyk who lets be real isnt elite and would've lost to any top guy. Lemos? The win thats hyped up because bro missed weight by 4lbs?
I mean people gave Crawford shit for years about his resume but Keyshawn gets praised as one of them guys?
Idk i feel Keyshawn is nice but he's put on a higher pedestal than what he's supposed to be at this stage of his career
Helluva Ride Spence Deserves His Flowers 💐
This fight was tough to watch from round 1 once I saw his footwork and him over reaching I thought the fight would go the way it did. Round 2 he looked better but after that I knew he'd gas out he was tooooo active early.
Errol showed heart, grit, and will. You still see some of the bad habits he's had his whole career as far as defensively using his lead hand to block punches to the body, dropping his lead hand, when he's getting hit on the back foot not really knowing what to do, and etc.
I also didn't kinda like his corner work in the fight as well imo. I feel like he wasn't correct errol mistakes like telling Errol, relax your feet are spread to far apart bring that back foot in some, the moment Tim gets momentum use that stick, feint level changes, and etc.
Errol is a dog man and honestly I was happy seeing him on survival mode I'd rather him go out on his feet than to have the towel thrown in or counted out.
He answered a lot of questions for the fans last night as well. He seemed to invest his money right enjoy that retirement.
Tim Tszyu with the win❗️Both guys didn't look elite tonight but they fought with heart👏
Do you all feel that Shakur is doing some🦆 shit not giving Shock his shot 🤔
I fw Shakur but me personally I think what he's doing is some duck shit. He's been making mad excuses not to fight shock who he gave his word he'd fight if he beat Ford.
"Oh shock ain't really accomplish nothing at 135, Lamont I felt really beat Tank and moved up to fight Pitbull" Bro talking about a guy who had 2 draws back to back.
"If I beat Shock yall gone say he too little" but is willing to fight lamont who jumped up 2 weight classes back to back. Wasn't Lamont technically the smaller guy moving up a weight class to fight Tank and Pitbull?
It's starting to feel like Shakur sicking his lil bros on guys to see how they are. Like "I get the best of Keyshawn in sparring let me see how he do vs Devin and if Devin win but struggle than I know I could win"
Thats the vibes he giving off imo
Usyk/Loma: Good Fighters But Were Given Favorable Standards Compared To Others❗️
Usyk and Lomachenko are both excellent fighters, but I think they're judged by a different standard than everyone else.
Lomachenko's amateur resume got him opportunities almost no pro has ever received, and Usyk gets massive credit for dominating cruiserweight—a division people have called weak for years.
Meanwhile, when other fighters dominate divisions that fans consider weak, they're told they "didn't beat anybody." Boots is a recent example. He unified at 147, moved to 154 and unified again, yet people still say the division was weak and dismiss his accomplishments.
Other guys like Tank, Shakur, Bud (at a time), and etc are prime examples as well
I'm not saying Usyk and Loma aren't great. I'm saying I don't think boxing fans apply the same standards across the board.
