Hey everyone,

I just finished up retrofitting 12-14 mirror assemblies for puddle lamps. Got everything to work it seems but can’t verify the heat function is working.

Took a multimeter to the lead wires in the mirror but couldn’t get a voltage readout. They’re just plug and play right? No Forscan adjustments needed?

Any help with troubleshooting would be appreciated.

Has anyone successfully changed the splash (boot) screen on a DMX 8709s? Or any newer Kenwoods with the touch controls stacked on the left side? I’ve tried the corner tapping for the upper left and lower left as well as upper left and upper right but can’t seem to access the hidden menu. Do I need the USB plugged in before attempting to access it? Thanks!
