Every time I shave my neck gets these red bumps that seem to fade after a few days but then I need to shave again so they flare up. I've tried using a 2% salicylic acid toner every day on the area and seen some reduction but it just keeps happening and it's frustrating. Does this happen to anyone else and can anyone recommend any treatments? Thank you.
Hi so I stopped using Differin 3 weeks ago due to persistent redness and switched to a basic cleanser, barrier serum, moisturiser. SPF every morning and a layer of vaseline every night. In the last week I have been getting several clustered breakouts and the redness is no better than it was. Could this be irritation or just my skin breaking out from stopping differin?
My serum & moisturiser both contain niacinamide and I have heard this can cause severe irritation/redness in certain skin types. So maybe it's that? Thank you.
