9' Board on Board w/ 12' Postmaster

Thanks to the search function, I was able to not totally screw up my fence build! I decided on this 9' Board on Board built with 12' Postmaster Posts set 36" in concrete because my house backs up to a commercial parking lot. It was already 8' (before it was blown over in October). At 104 feet long, the cost of materials, tools and misc came out to just under $5000. Ask me anything- its my turn to contribute to the community!

Creepy Marine Recruiter at West 11th Wal-Mart

Had a very strange and gross interaction with a young man claiming to be a Marine recruiter today:

While shopping with my wife and teen son, my son was approached by this individual who complimented his height and proceeded to blast him with recruitment mumbo jumbo. He didn't even initially speak to me or my wife until I told him that we weren't interested and to leave my kid alone.

I made a report with store management, who agreed that it was very strange behavior. I also called the recruiting office in Santa Clara and the guy on the phone confirmed this is a practice they use.

This is concerning because ANYONE, child predators and sex traffickers included, could impersonate a recruiter (he wasn't even in uniform, didn't provide any credentials, or anything).

Anyway, if this was you, FUCK YOU and your shitty tactics. And fuck your commanding officer for approving your child grooming, pedophile style way of trying to earn a kids trust.

TLDR; A dude claiming to be a marine recruiter accosted my 14y/o son in an aisle at Walmart unsolicited, which was creepy and is a foul practice that should be stopped immediately.
