Whats the point in having a good private industry if you don't get the money from it?

Do you get money from private industry in any way besides taxing people and if not why is it beneficial?

Question about the principles of communism

I was planning on asking this in a general communist sub but the posts i saw there were terrifyingly socdemish and this is the only place i trust to be avthentic.

Isn't this just super wrong? There are a ton of commodities that cost very little to make and yet are sold at a disproportionately high price. Also if products are sold at their production price companies mostly wouldn't be able to grow.

Can someone explain this ?
