Looking for someone who's built an AI automation agency to point me in the right direction

Hi everyone,

I'm starting my first AI automation company and I'm looking for guidance from people who have already built one.

I'm starting with very limited resources, but I'm committed to learning and doing the work. My goal is to help small businesses automate repetitive tasks using AI tools and workflows.

I'm not looking for shortcuts or for someone to build my business for me. I'm looking for honest advice, feedback, and lessons from people who've already been through the journey.

If you've built an AI automation business successfully, I'd love to know:

What would you do differently if you were starting again today?

What skills should I focus on first?

How did you get your first paying client?

What mistakes should I avoid in my first six months?

If anyone is willing to answer questions occasionally as I make progress, I'd be incredibly grateful. I'll respect your time, come prepared, and share what I've implemented from your advice.

Thank you for reading. I appreciate any guidance you can share.

This post is more likely to get responses because it asks for advice first. If someone consistently comments on your progress, you can then invite them into a mentor relationship naturally.
