some of the issues i noticed that are still present on dev beta 2:
- Turning off Loud Sound Reduction on AirPods makes them disconnect/crash
- Precision Find My is a hit or miss (can confirm as my other devices on v26 works fine)
- AirPods EQ does not work when Listening Mode is set to Off
can anyone confirm these on their own units?
im currently testing on AirPods Pro 3

Could’ve been a laptop, but I still wanted to draw so I went with the iPad Air. Kinda wish it was a Pro, but at 512GB prices I might as well buy a MacBook. Didn’t want a laptop though, and the Pencil Pro is a game changer for CSP, I just cant live without it.
I’m always using the monitors at my school, so I carry an HDMI adapter and USB-C hub everywhere. At this point it basically functions like a laptop. Also run a cooler, so I can max brightness 24/7 while editing, gaming, or multitasking without thermal throttling.
post is in response to @gabsterz20; thx for the idea lmao
(The MagSafe Cooler is able to attach at the back of the iPad w/ the use of those MagSafe magnetic cooler stickers…
I happened to notice, and I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this-but the new EQ setting doesn't seem to work when Listening Mode is set to Off.
The EQ works properly in all other modes, such as Transparency and ANC.

Flight Speed. Good Thing this iPad has enough battery left to continue its flight for the next 2-3 years of me keeping this. Been using it for over a year with pretty heavy daily use, about to have its first birthday a day from now; did lots of photo editing, long 10 to 12 hour flight sim sessions on IFS, plus games like Genshin and Zenless, and it’s still at 94% battery health with 362 charge cycles which honestly surprised me since I don’t follow any strict charging habits. Curious how everyone else’s iPad Air or Pro is holding up and what your battery health and cycle count looks like after a year?
I just:
- use it the way I want to
- play or use it while its charging from 5% to a full or just continuously plugged in for a day
- mostly use a cooler to keep it cool at all times when doing something demanding or charging it *(esp since my display is always at around 80-90% brightness; 90-full/max brightness if editing @Lr).*
i kinda wonder if Apple did something new with the M3/M4 or newer iPad batteries to hold their health this well even @high cycle counts. Since most M4, M2 iPad Pro, Air or later units usually drop to around 92–90% by the time they hit 300 cycles, so minejust feels a bit above the norm.
*(rant)Really hope Apple will add Pro Motion or smthn smoother w/ the next Air.. The M4 Air is so disappointing.*
Wanted to share this cause im curious what everyone else is getting on their 16 Pro / Pro Max, especially those running external cooling too.
been grinding Geekbench 6 runs on my 16 Pro Max units lately trying to see how far the A18 Pro can realistically go under ideal thermals.
Using a phone cooler, my highest run so far was 3618 SC / 9199 MC, with most of my avg runs landing around the 3570–3610 SC and 9060–9150 MC range. What honestly surprised me is how big of a difference the cooler made as my prev runs (weeks back) was around 3.4k SC / 8.6k MC… not sure if the prev dev beta versions of iOS 26 made an impact as well..
These test was done on all 4 at dvb ios26.5 (23F5069b), all at 100% bat health
