Nothing else matters if we fail to score.

Considering Bowen hasn't scored in a long time. Summerville isn't prolific by any means and Taty isn't firing regularly either.... Are we counting on Soucek or Mav to score a goal tomorrow?

  • Do we play Wilson and Taty and concede areas of the pitch Pablo would help defend higher up the pitch?
  • Do we play Taty and Pablo and bring Wilson on after 70 mins? (No please)
  • Do we actually play Wilson and Pablo?

Slow Saturday?

How's everyone doing today?
I posted an ill-advised rant post which was frankly immature so promptly deleted it. Apologies to all..... bit frustrated ^_^.

Essentially, I have too much time on my hands to type a massive rant post during a PH.

What do you like to do on PH when you're receiving no calls?

Did anybody else predict relegation before this season?

I'm not saying we are yet. That'd be negative even by my standards..

Take yourself back to August - What were you feeling?

I was honestly expecting 12th-15th with Potter not being the basketcase he turned into.

Thoughts?

I've come to my own conclusions but this isn't exactly rocket science. The club is like one of those spherical charity coin things at McDonald's in the 1990s. A downward spiral. The coin circles round and round but eventually falls into the black hole.

That's not to say the spiral can't end eventually.... We may somehow survive this time...Should that happen what does next season look like? Would it be another glum season?

Something about the Championship sounds rather alluring.. Remember when watching football was fun?

Alas...... Whatever will be will be and I remain hopeful for now.

Irons XO.

  • Yes f**k Villa but ultimately if West Ham go down it's for throwing away the first half of the season.
  • West Ham mustn't expect other results now. Shouldn't have even entered the mind in the first place. Weak mentality - As fans we're really suffering right now so it is understandable but a mental boost is that the lads could've given up in January. They're still in with a chance even if slim. Don't concede defeat now.
  • Just focus on winning the next game and the one after that and the one after that. Simple really (not winning the games, but the mindset) Just focus on winning the next game.
  • Nuno needs to pull his d**k out of his a** and attack from minute one. Try to win the games rather than not lose them.

  • Reflect on the season as a whole - show gratitude that the lads didn't give up in January.
  • Consider the unlikely probability that the teams at the bottom continue to win games.
  • Of course we as fans do care so deeply but it is important not to take on the burdens of the poor ownership. The language we use (saying "us", "we"... instead of "they" tricks our brain into thinking we need to carry such burdens of mismanagement when WE aren't responsible for the situation.
  • Relieve yourself of guilt, anguish and stress. It's onto next week where the lads will want to put yesterday behind them.

All the best ❤️. COYI.

Thanks. ❤️

I can't remember a time when a Villa result will either directly or indirectly have such a massive impact on my club.

Owing to the form of the teams down there of late we have been conditioned into thinking Leeds, Forest, WHU and Spurs will keep winning games until the end of the season but this is actually the least likely outcome.

More likely is that WHU and Spurs keep dropping points, losing games and it's actually who loses the least between now and end of season who will survive.

Leeds play Spurs next and WHU on final game so I'm also asking for Leeds' help.
