Well it finally happened to me and my 3090ti
I noticed some green corrosion on one of the cables and stupidly continued using it. Today I smelt burning and saw the damage on the connector so I shut the PSU down. The GPU looks ok so I am hoping it wasn't damaged.
This is a CableMod 3x8 12VHPWR cable that is at least two years old.
