Anyone tried the Dangbei Freedo for mobile VJing?

Hey, I’ve been testing the Dangbei Freedo as an ultra-portable option for smaller gigs and pop-ups. It’s super lightweight at around 1.4kg with a built-in battery (~2.5hrs), a flexible gimbal-style stand for odd projection angles, and auto focus/keystone that makes rushed setups way easier. The 1080p image with 450 ISO lumens definitely needs a dark space, but it handled some reactive Resolume visuals surprisingly well on an 80–100” surface. Big pros are the quiet fan, backpack-friendly size, and quick HDMI connection from my laptop. Downsides: not bright enough for lit venues, and the pixel grid becomes noticeable at larger sizes. Anyone else using compact projectors like this for VJ sets? Curious how you deal with brightness in real-world venues and any setup tips!

Thinking about moving to Myrtle Beach for a simpler life but want honest opinions

I have been thinking seriously about relocating because where I live right now just feels too expensive for the lifestyle I am getting.

Myrtle Beach has been on my radar mainly because it seems to offer a mix of affordability and a more relaxed way of living.

What attracts me the most is the idea of being near the ocean without paying extremely high prices. I also like the thought of a slower pace, better weather and just having more balance day to day. It seems like a place where people go to simplify things a bit.

At the same time, I do not want to make a decision based only on surface level information. I am curious about what daily life is actually like once you move there. Does it feel comfortable long term or do the tourist things become too much? And are there specific areas that are better suited for full time living?

If anyone has gone through this process or already made the move, I would really appreciate your experience and any recommendations on how to properly research before deciding.
