What is the optimal way to setup a gate? I see virtual fences etc but I have a real fence and gate. I would like it to go to the gate and wait for me. It tries to navigate around it and freaks out. When I get to the spot to open the gate the unit is really angry.
Suggestion to have a gate on the path that it sits at in a holding pattern. Send me a message when you are heading to the gate and let me trigger on the app that the gate is open.
For Prime day I order the 1500 Ultimate Kit which said it came with garage and blades. What was just delivered doesn’t have a garage in the box. Does the garage normally ship separately? Amazon doesn’t show a separate box for it so it feels like it should have all been in 1 big box.
Anyone have an experience with this? Amazon told me it was sold/shipped by Mammotion so I sent a request to them but Amazon said it could take a few days for a response. I don’t know if I want to setup everything if I will be asked to ship this back. If I don’t set it up this weekend I won’t have time to set it up till mid-July and I’m excited to try it.
I see we are getting a new OS but they are dropping a lot of supported devices.
I have 6 AppleTVs and I think they are all dropped but maybe one…. So I’m worried about this.
What’s the expected app support challenges? Do we think we might be SOL? I’m fine buying 1-2 new ones but we have a lot in like playrooms and bedrooms that are used but not 4k used. The older ones were great for basic usage.
Any guesses what life will be like being stuck on AppleTV OS 27?
Ok.. I think I might have misunderstood some of the specs or just had bad assumptions. I’m now confused.
I have 2 Flip 5s, I can borrow 2 Flip 6s and a Charge #. All of those are party boost. I was thinking I could string them together and have it extend like 300 or 400 ft from the BT Transmitter. I’m not reading it’s not a mesh style network and I’m still limited to only get like 100ft.
So I looked at Auracast and it doesn’t sound much better. I was looking at Auracast and the extreme 4.
The use case is speakers on a large pool deck for events. HOA won’t allow wired installs and a few times a year we would like to have speakers spread out with a single source. I’m worried the use case just isn’t a simple fix.
Any help? How does Party Boost work? I really assumed it would repeat the signal to the next device.
