The Cyn Cult has an official Discord server, which was created to fill in the gaps that Reddit can't, such as chatting with friends or providing a more structured space for all topics.

As a measure to protect members, the server uses a Cloudflare security system. For this reason, invitations will never be sent directly; instead, an intermediary will be used to verify that anyone joining the server is not a bot (bots are responsible for virtually all security issues on Discord).

〘Decision-Making in the Cult of Cyn〙

In the Cyn cult, there is complete democracy in every aspect; everything is decided by the community, and no member of the administration can make decisions as they please.

If you want a change, always speak up to express your dissatisfaction with something, and it will be changed; if you have a suggestion, it will likely be implemented if it benefits the community.

The only thing that cannot be changed is removing the third rule, since it goes against the cult's purpose (to be a place for those who truly love Cyn).

Oh, and if you were wondering about what I’ve heard said about me—I’m not homophobic, I’m not a dictator, etc.

I respect everyone equally at first, but unfortunately, these kinds of people always turn out to be problematic. No matter how kind I am, they continue with their unpleasant attitudes, which end up affecting the community.

I’m always open to exceptions—I don’t generalize—but out of the dozens of people like this I’ve dealt with, I haven’t seen a single one; I’m still waiting for an exception.

I never jump to insults—in fact, it’s extremely rare for me to use bad language—but if you break the rules, I have to do something about it.

〘Regarding Rule 3〙

Rule 3 and its insults were entirely intentional.

The purpose of Rule 3’s aggressiveness was to scare away people who consume or create this type of disrespectful content.

In response to community voice, the rule was modified, so we no longer have that barrier of hate that kept that group of individuals at bay. For that reason, yesterday we sought out more moderators to prevent delays in removing this content and to ensure fewer people were affected.

Rule 3 remained in effect for about 50 days without any complaints, which is why it was only modified after that period; if you don't complain, we don't know if it bothers you.

We now have a rough estimate of the number of Sus members of the Cult of Cyn who are among us.

That represents approximately 3.488% of the members of the Cyn cult, but the moderation team will keep an eye on things; we select moderators from different time zones to ensure nearly 24/7 service.
