New to me - now what?
Bought a 2004 2500HD (LLY) with 6.6L diesel - mainly to pull an RV trailer. It seems to be a solid and awesome truck that has been pretty well maintained. For its age and having 180k miles, I see some typical age-related things to work on as with any vehicle this old - clear coat peeling in places, brittle plastic, etc
That said, though it’s the second Silverado I’ve owned, this is the first time I’ve owned a diesel and I figure there are some experienced folks in here that can tell me what kind of issues I might be encountering and what preventive maintenance I can do to avoid them. Beyond that, what would be some useful mods? TIA!
